On Thin Ice is an independent long-term documentary project exploring our changing cryosphere through photography and film. In collaboration with ICELINK, an international research project studying the North Atlantic ice sheets and glaciers, I document the scientists working in these rapidly changing landscapes and their efforts to better understand the future of our ice.

The project is currently in the funding phase, with filming planned to begin in summer 2027. The portraits and film excerpts presented here offer a first glimpse into the people, research and stories at the heart of the project.
